GeoTerre Operating, LLC is an oil and gas company headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA.

The company has operations in Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas and is focused on acquisitions and development opportunities with conventional enhancement possibilities. Growth of the company through exploration is centered around subsurface mapping that is complemented with 3-D seismic.

Target formations include Miocene, Frio, Cockfield, Yegua, Sparta, and Wilcox.

GeoTerre Operating, LLC was founded in 2019 to operate properties with low decline rates and long life reserves. Operating became a necessity when divestment opportunities for PDP reserves were term limited.

After 30+ years of participation in a “non-operating” role, we understand what it means to deliver the necessary information to our partners in the most efficient manner. It is essential that we own a working interest in every property we operate.
